Telling Your Story in Post-Production

The right talent, imaginative technology, and thorough planning are well-oiled cogs in our Post-production machine.

Post-production is an integral part of Revolution Pictures' storytelling process, and we approach all aspects with the same creative zeal. From color correction to sound design to graphic effects, we right-size our teams to best serve the client’s story and articulate their vision before production even begins. From day one we know if there’s a need for an expert editor, a VFX wizard, or a full-force team, so by the time we wrap, our efficient and streamlined process skirts any surprises we may bump into when pulling up the dailies.

Worldbuilding and weaving in flashy elements, like the flurry of snow seen in Home Depot’s “Light Up” or the explosive effects in the “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” digital release, take time in an industry where most things are expected to be done yesterday. Engineering the right ambiance and making space for music to add that special touch, as seen in Mazda’s “Moving Forward,” must be fine-tuned by sound design. Thankfully, our internal team is a network of type-a scheduling masters whose wheels start turning from the official project greenlight, giving us room to dive deep into our craft and deliver within the set timeframe.

When it comes to making those last-minute tweaks, going virtual with Vū Studios gives way to technological advancements that shape our clients’ stories artistically and functionally. Imagination can run wild at a desired pace since we can create scenes on a virtual stage that dramatically cuts down on workload and timing. The elements of visual effects have taken a modern turn that’s completely changed the Post-Production game and we’re excited to see where it takes us in the future.
