Presenting Chris Stapleton and Ram Trucks to The Super Bowl Stage

Filmed and awarded within the same week, we remained flexible and pivoted as needed to deliver a production that exceeded our client’s expectations.

Marrying a music legend with stunning design

We collaborate with brands and ideas that stimulate our creativity – it’s a twofold relationship required for meaningful stories to be told. When Ram Trucks came to us with the idea of showcasing their unreleased Ram EV alongside music legend Chris Stapleton, we knew we wanted the piece to be rugged, yet refined, providing an introduction to one of the best national anthem performances we’ve ever heard…but maybe we’re a bit biased. Inspired by the fusion of soulful sound and the sleek style of Ram’s new electric pickup truck, we highlighted the features of the new Ram EV while demonstrating Chris Stapleton’s close ties to the brand.

Timely execution led to a quick turnaround

Due to the unreleased aspect of Ram’s latest truck, we had to take that into consideration when selecting locations. Working with a vehicle prototype always presents its challenges and this time we had to be extremely locked down in our approach – only a handful of people had seen the prototype prior to filming. We also needed to find a local location that could mimic the feel of the Cardinal’s stadium in Arizona, as one week didn’t leave enough time for a full set build-out. This led us to our own Nissan Stadium in Nashville, which we customized with a few additions.

Always on the go, but never in a hurry

We’re familiar with productions of this size but a small pre-production presented some unique challenges in regard to permitting, crewing, and equipment rentals. Our execution came down to Director Jeff Venable's creative vision and Producer Andrea Bernick who, with her remarkable team, all participated in extensive leg work during a short period of time. Our team also worked closely with agency GSD&M to get approvals quickly and make sure all production concerns were addressed before we arrived on set. Despite the time crunch, we were intentional about building a team of folks that could effortlessly deliver exceptional creative under some much-loved pressure. After all, we’re in love with the process.
